Vijnana Keralam is a prestigious project Government of Kerala lead by Local Self Government Department and hosted by Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) by joining hands with department of Higher education and labour with an objective of providing 5 lakh knowledge jobs to the job seekers within next one year. Along with this, the project also aims to increase employability by introducing skill development content in higher education courses in Kerala. WHO CAN APPLY

Candidates below the age of 35 with a PG in the domains of Management, Social Work, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy and Governance, Public Administration, Decentralisation and local governance and B-Tech holders in different domains can apply for Internship.

The Local Governments in Thiruvananthapuram District offer internship opportunities at the District Panchayath, Block Panchayats, Municipalities, and Corporation.

INTERNSHIP ALLOWANCE

There will be a rigorous screening exercise for selecting the interns for one year. Selected interns will be provided with a survival allowance of 15,000/- per month. The interns will also get opportunities to join various courses on platforms like Coursera as well as opportunities to attend various capacity building programmes. Those selected will also receive a course certificate from Vinjana Keralam, considering the internship period as a course
